Grantor of Beginnings

Vilas, the Fae prince of Devlorian, has lived in the shadow of his sister, who stands next in line for their father’s throne. As the spare, his duty isn’t focused on diplomacy or court politics. It’s to command armies and defend the realm. When a long-contained threat resurfaces and an emergency council is called for the first time in history, Vilas is forced into both politics and war.
For three centuries, the realm of Nydrovis has been imprisoned behind an unbreakable barrier, guarded day and night. The spell has never wavered, but somehow, Nydrovians have been found crossing into the world beyond, and leaving a trail of bloodless bodies in their wake.
When it’s confirmed that the barrier to Nydrovis has been breached, Vilas is the first to volunteer to inspect the border. If there is any hope of stopping the spreading darkness and preventing a catastrophic war, the barrier must be restored. But the mission grows complicated with the addition of Von, a fiercely independent ranger with a guarded past and secrets of her own.
As the Nydrovian King’s true intentions are revealed, Vilas is drawn into a tangled web of ancient secrets, brutal betrayals, and a devastatingly powerful bond that could either save their world or destroy it.
Humans, Pirates, Fae, Witches, and the elusive Rangers, will unite once again to contain Nydrovis before darkness consumes them all.
